I, for one, was in a huge car accident right before I chose to quit my dead-end PR job to follow my passion and live in the mountains. I walked away from the car accident unharmed, but it was a major wake up call. I had been living my life believing that I was put on earth to just settle for what I could get.

Hello? No WONDER it took an 18-wheeler smashing into my car to get me to start valuing my precious life!

It's the Wide Awake Weekend. It's this fall, in Asheville North Carolina when the mountains are at their glorious peak of color.

First, you'll join me and my special guest Master Coach and author Brooke Castillo for a day called "Uplevel Your Life." It'll be a full day of mindsets and mastery (and fun too!)

Then, you can stay over the weekend and come to my Wide Awake CD Release Performance – at Asheville's coolest listening room – The Grey Eagle. All proceeds from the concert go to HelpMate, one of my favorite organizations devoted to empowering women who have been in situations of domestic abuse.
